Social Event - Canal Trip from Aldersley to Coven. Sun 14th Sept 09.

Brethren and their friends, (masonic and non-masonic) are invited to a Canal Trip from Aldersley, Wolverhampton to The Fox & Anchor, Coven.

The event starts at 10:30am from Aldersley, in a Long Boat, and will travel to the Fox & Anchor Inn at Coven for Lunch, and then return to Aldersley. The boat trip is about 1 hour each way.

Cost is assumed to be £8.00 per person based on 30 people. The cost will be reduced pro rata up to 40 persons i.e. £6.00. Lunch is separate, and a sample menu is below to give you and idea of what is available.

The boat has a fully stocked bar and toilets are on board.

There will be a raffle on the day in aid of the Acorn's Children's Hospice.

Streetly Lodge Launch Website.

On 26th January 2008, Streetly Lodge launched its' website. The site is intended to draw attention to the activity of Streetly Lodge Freemasons in the local community and act as an online message board for members and visitors.

Possible Change of Meeting.

At the January meeting proposals were heard for two new members to join the lodge. This will probably mean that the Festival Meeting which was going to be held in March will be deferred until a later date to make way for an initiation. Watch this space for confirmation.

Social Committee.

The Social Committee's bowling night raised over £300 for the Acorn's Children's Hospice. If you have any photos of the evening that you would like to share, why not email them to the webmaster using the link on the bottom left hand side of this page?
